Preparation for admission to art universities

The program is designed for ages 12 and older. This program is also suitable for adults who want to enroll in higher and secondary educational institutions.

Preparation for universities in Europe, Russia, Asia and America begins at the age of 12 and older. The training program is based on the exam assignment programs of selected universities and colleges.

Classes are held in a group 3 times a week (12 classes per month) lasting 2 astronomical hours.

Depending on the timing of the entrance exams, their complexity and the level of preparation of the prospective applicant, it is recommended to increase the number of classes per week to 4-5 (for more information, please consult with the teacher in charge of this program).

The purpose of the entrance tests to creative educational institutions is to identify creatively promising and artistically gifted people who are able to master professional knowledge and skills in their chosen field during their studies. The tests include reviewing a portfolio of works, entrance tests of creative and professional orientation, and an interview (a colloquium that reveals the applicant's general cultural level and erudition).

For example:
To enter the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov, Moscow, in order to participate in the competition, the applicant must submit the following independent works to the admissions committee:
1. Painting and drawing – executed from nature (head, waist
portrait with arms, nude model, sketches, sketches).
2. Composition – a series of compositional sketches based on literary
works (short story, novella, poem) in the amount of 10 or more
sheets in A4 and A3 format.

For admission to the HSE Moscow School of Design, the creative exam is conducted in the format of viewing a pre-prepared creative project according to the selected admission profile. The review is conducted online (on the website of the HSE School of Design).
When preparing a creative project, it is necessary to choose one of the learning profiles and, in accordance with it, perform a series of works (from 6 to 12) united by one theme, connected by a single concept and a single stylistic solution. For example:
— a series of frames for a cartoon or computer game;
— a series of book or magazine illustrations;
— a series of illustrations on a free topic;
— comic book (from 6 pages + cover);— cartoon (accompanied by 6-12 screenshots); etc.

For admission to the Moscow Institute of Architecture (Moscow State Academy), exams in drawing and composition are conducted full-time in the building of the Moscow Institute of Architecture. The applicant is invited to complete a composition assignment and a drawing of a plaster cast of an antique head on A3 paper according to all academic canons, based on a clear construction and all the necessary chiaroscuro from a point source.
