Academic classes for children and teenagers according to the art school program.
Classes are held in a group:
- 12 classes per month lasting 2 academic hours, three times a week.
The Art School program is an elementary art education program and offers comprehensive art education. It combines academic disciplines, practical knowledge and project work. This program is designed for 5 years of study and is suitable for students of all ages and levels of education. The main purpose of the art school is to prepare students for further education in secondary and higher educational institutions or for independent creative activity.
The main objectives of the program:
• Educational: Learning the basics of fine art: academic drawing, painting, composition, sculpture, graphics, etc. Familiarization with the theory and history of art, the development of artistic thinking and aesthetic taste.
• Professional: Preparation of a portfolio and the possibility of consulting on successful admission to art universities. Practical training in various fields of art, allowing you to find your own professional direction.
• Creative: The development of individual style and creative thinking. Participation in art competitions, exhibitions and other creative events.
• Career guidance: Introduction to professions in the field of art and design. Choosing a professional direction and preparing for a future career.
The disciplines that make up the art school's curriculum are diverse and have a broad educational and professional focus.
The main disciplines of the curriculum:
• Academic drawing (The study of drawing techniques when working with nature: still life, plaster casts, portrait, human figure. Developing skills in linear and aerial perspective, understanding proportions and chiaroscuro).
• Painting (Working with various painting materials: oil, watercolor, acrylic, tempera. The study of color theory, techniques and ways of working).
• Composition (Fundamentals of compositional construction. Creation of story and abstract compositions in various genres).
• Graphics (Study of graphic techniques. Creation of author's series and prints).
• Sculpture (The basics of working with different sculptural materials: clay, plaster, wood, metal. Modeling from nature and creating sculptures based on his own sketches).
• Fundamentals of Design (Study of design principles. Development of design concepts and familiarization with the main programs for designers).
• Art History (An overview of the history of art from ancient civilizations to modern times. The study of artistic styles and their representatives, the analysis of works of art).
• Summer Practice (Plein-air painting and outdoor drawing. Trips to exhibitions, museums, and historical sites to study art).
• Workshops (Master classes and seminars from practicing artists, designers and art critics. Practical exercises in various fields of art and design).
• Career guidance (Individual consultations and master classes on choosing a profession in the field of art. Portfolio preparation and consultations on admission to art universities).
Starting from the 4th year of study, students choose one of the areas of their future professional activity, and study it in depth in the fourth and fifth years.
The training ends with the defense of the diploma project in the chosen profile.
Professional orientation starting from the 4th year of study (art school program):
- Architecture (Fundamentals of architectural design and layout. Architectural drawing and composition in architecture).
- Design (Fundamentals of design by industry. Design concepts and working with software for designers).
- Painting (The study of various painting techniques and genres. Creation of personal painting projects and series of works).
- Graphics (In-depth study of graphic techniques: etching, linocut, lithography. Creation of author's graphic works and portfolios).
- Sculpture (Development of skills of modeling and working with various materials. Creation of sculptural projects and compositions).
- Animation (Fundamentals of animation art and creation of animated films. Working with animation creation software).
- Set design (Designing sets for theater and cinema. Layout and creation of scenic concepts).
- History of Art (An in-depth study of the history of art and its theory. Analyzing works and writing research papers).
